Ramelle is a beta map in Day of Defeat. It was introduced in Beta 2.0 and replaced by Merderet in version 1.0.[1]
Overview[]
This map has some good sniper spots to cover the central bridge. It is a key location to control this map. As an assaulter, it is a good idea to loosely stick together on the capture because the maps have many tight corners that can lead to good defensive ambush positions.

The axis are coming...we've got to hold that bridge until the next group comes along. One day we might look back and say, "this was the one thing decent we were able to pull out of this godawfull shitty mess".. Allied Objectives: Capture the 5 flag points (note: The flag at the bridge is an capture area - hold it for 5 seconds to take it) Axis Objectives: We've got to get a hold of that bridge. If we fail the road to Paris is short. All eyes are upon you and failure will not be tolerated! - You can find on allies spawn gramophone which play song Edith Piaf - Tu es partout.
