The Panzerfaust (Grenade Launcher) is a cut class from the original Day of Defeat.[1]

The Panzerfaust was an Axis-only class, with the Flamer as its Allied counterpart, intended for inclusion during the game's Alpha phase in 2000. This class was intended to use the Panzerfaust, a single-use, recoilless grenade launcher, as his primary weapon.
This class was developed alongside the Panzerschreck and because of this, the Panzerfaust's role is somewhat unclear. Compared to the other German rocket weapon, a single-shot grenade launcher would be fairly ineffective against infantry. This may have been the reason why it was never added to the game.
